Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your purchase and use of FlipingBook (the “Software”), a desktop application that opens PDFs, Word and Excel files and images as an animated book. The Software is provided by FlipingBook (“we”, “us”). By purchasing, downloading or using the Software, you agree to these terms.

Purchases and our reseller

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payments, taxes and invoices are handled by Paddle under its Buyer Terms.

License

When you buy FlipingBook for $59 (one-time payment), you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license key. You may activate it on up to 3 computers that you own or use. The license does not expire and includes the updates of the current major version.

You may not resell, share publicly, sublicense, reverse engineer or modify the Software, or try to bypass the license activation, except where the law expressly allows it.

Your files

FlipingBook works on your computer. Your documents, highlights and reading history stay on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. You are responsible for the content you open in the Software and for keeping your own backups.

Refunds

Refunds are described in our Refund Policy. If you receive a refund, your license key is deactivated.

Warranty and liability

The Software is provided “as is”. We work hard to make it reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be free of errors or work without interruption. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Software. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Software after a change means you accept the updated terms.
